Chucky1539 Ballot for 2020 Week Goes To Eleven

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Nov. 15, 2020, 1:40 p.m.

Rank Team Reason
Alabama Crimson Tide Mac Jones: Legit, Offense: Legit, Defense: Sometimes Legit. I think Alabama is going to have zero problem winning the SEC and making it to the National Championship.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish Everything is going right for this team right now, last year they weren't even that bad and they already look way better. I think it is stupid to assume that Clemson is the guaranteed winner even with a healthy QB.
Ohio State Buckeyes They haven't changed much from last year so there isn't much question on if they could play against the best of the best. Their SOR so far is questionable and they do raise the question of how many cancel games would it take to exclude them from a playoff.
Cincinnati Bearcats I can say that this is arguably the best G5 team we have seen in a long time. We know they have great players, we know Fickell is the real deal. Cincy deserves this spot as of right now until an opponent can actually keep a game close.
Clemson Tigers
Texas A&M Aggies
Florida Gators
Wisconsin Badgers Are they really good like usual? Likely yes. Have they only played two really bad teams so far? Yes. Important matchup for the badgers this weekend but I like their odds.
BYU Cougars Solid team with terrible SOS and SOR, their offense just cannot stop scoring. I think a playoff spot is unlikely but I hope they get a deserving bowl matchup.
Oregon Ducks So far Oregon looks just as solid as last year. Should they win out, they should deserve a spot in the CFP, however, they still have 6 games remaining.
Georgia Bulldogs Being ranked this high with two losses is quiet the accomplishment but their defense deserves the respect. Winning the division at this point is unlikely at this point.
Northwestern Wildcats Northwestern has had the most impressive turnaround and undeniably has the best SOR in the conference. Wisconsin will likely determine the champion in the west.
Miami Hurricanes Another game that shouldn't have been as close. Miami is very good but I think it is safe to imagine that they are likely out of contention for a championship spot.
Oklahoma State Cowboys This team is flatlining at the moment, they are fully capable of winning this weekend, but a regressing offense might lose the game and eliminate them from the championship.
Iowa State Cyclones Worthy of being a top-15 team atm and likely a top-10 if they had not lost to ULL. The last three games are going to be tough, but two wins will make it very likely for them to earn a championship spot.
Coastal Carolina Chanticleers I think this team is scary and will win the FunBelt. I hope they get a good bowl bid preferably NY6 and see how they look against a P5 team not named Kansas.
Oklahoma Sooners Getting hot at just the right time, I think they're likely the favorite to win Bedlam and advance to the conference championship.
Indiana Hoosiers Indiana's SOR is actually really bad. They are a good team, but beating bad brand name teams does not equate them to being a top-10 team yet.
Liberty Flames
Marshall Thundering Herd
Texas Longhorns Texas still has a path to the conference championship, which as much as that sucks. It would be hilarious to watch Tom Herman's hot seat quiet down again.
Tulsa Golden Hurricane
USC Trojans USC has the recruits but I have yet to see a game where they were convincingly the better team. 2-0 is 2-0 so I think they deserve to be ranked.
Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns
San José State Spartans
