Overall Rationale: TERSE cares a little less about having a great record and a little more about having a great strength of schedule this week. It's remarkably unimpressed with Indiana (hey, their SOS is worse than Cincinnati's and BYU's, after all) and is still pretty high on Clemson. Alabama claims the top spot while Notre Dame rises to second, and three-fourths of the Independent contingent makes the top 25. (The other fourth is UMass, 127th and last.) A few surprise names in the top 25: UNC's big win convinced TERSE they're of ranked calibre, while App State joins SMU as one-loss G5s. 24 of the TERSE top 25 where among the top 26 receiving votes this week with the exception of App State (only 5 votes despite being 4-1 with their only loss to 6-0 Marshall).
