Hey_Its_Roomie Ballot for 2020 Week θ´

Ballot Type: Hybrid

Submitted: Nov. 2, 2020, 10:28 a.m.

Overall Rationale: My poll is finally fixed and producing sensible results for the most part. Expect massive shifts from last week since that was pure human and went more by hype/impression than this should be going by from here on out. The current situation that is difficult to overcome is the inherent bias again the MW, B1G, and soon Pac as they simply lack wins due to a later season start. It will hopefully normalize as the season goes on. The B1G did take a big drop as quite a few teams went 1-1 now, making it pretty unfavorable to judge the lot as Top 25 quality. Next week could cause a radical shift as teams should start going 3-0, 2-1 and perhaps more than Oregon will make an appearance for the Pac.

Rank Team Reason
Alabama Crimson Tide Between Alabama's continued pursuit, Clemson looking like they're playing with their food, and Ohio State's early season, they trump all as the no. 1.
Clemson Tigers
Ohio State Buckeyes
Notre Dame Fighting Irish Notre Dame hangs on as they try to decide whether they wanna be a real Top 4 team or a 2020 Top 4 team.
Cincinnati Bearcats
BYU Cougars
Georgia Bulldogs
Oklahoma State Cowboys
Marshall Thundering Herd
Miami Hurricanes
Texas A&M Aggies
Oregon Ducks They lone survivor of pre-season polls has run its course. The teams above Oregon are considered "great" or "elite" and everything below would only be "good".
SMU Mustangs
Coastal Carolina Chanticleers Undefeated and making some statement wins, but the general softness of the conference (outside the Angry Peppers) is holding it back.
Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns
Florida Gators
Tulsa Golden Hurricane At roughly this point, it got hard to justify teams needing to be adjusted, and the spreadsheet dictated the rest of the way.
Virginia Tech Hokies
Boise State Broncos
Wake Forest Demon Deacons
Liberty Flames Liberty's opponents have been... absolutely awful. At a sum record of 4-17, there's no redeeming quality to their opponents and as a result, they suffer hard on the rating.
Memphis Tigers
Appalachian State Mountaineers
Northwestern Wildcats
San José State Spartans San Jose State slips in. Why not Indiana? Despite the 2-0 start, one being an OT win does take a hit on them.
