Miami_da_U Ballot for 2020 Week θ´

Ballot Type: Human

Rank Team Reason
Clemson Tigers I've had them here all year (last week I accidentally listed them 2nd to bama). They struggled without Lawrence, but we'll see how they do against ND. Until they lose I'm not dropping them, especially if they're just struggling without their definitely future #1 pick QB...
Alabama Crimson Tide Losing Waddle is big. No surprise that Bama is stacked like always. They'll pretty much only move up to #1 if Clemson loses to ND though.
Ohio State Buckeyes Field is playing elite. There's like a 95% chance they make the CFP. Wisconsin seems to be the only team that could pose any threat tbh.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish They're here essentailly as default. I don't think they've proven themselves as a top 10 team. But their D has been good, and they have a great opportunity against a Lawrence-less Clemson to at least solidify themselves as a top 4 team. It'll take more than just a close win against Clemson (without #1 pick Lawrence) for them to jump Clemson imo though.
Texas A&M Aggies Got blown out by Bama just like UGA. Only difference is A&M has a much more impressive win than UGA has. We'll see how UGA vs UF goes, as that should give some clarity as to the 2nd,3rd,4th best SEC team order.
Georgia Bulldogs It's simple, Beat UF. If you lose, you don't deserve to be a top 10 team, maybe not even top 15. If you win, you could jump into CFP. This is really the only remaining difficult game until SECCG.
Wisconsin Badgers They're in a tough situation. We'll see how they perform, but they're clearly a good team and clearly better than the guys ranked below when healthy.
Florida Gators Big Week for UF. They're clearly in 4th in the SEC right now with the opportunity to be 3rd. Losing to A&M was big, now they gotta win out and hope A&M drops a game they shouldn't.
Miami Hurricanes Looking at the schedule, Miami should win out. But that's going to determine what kind of team Miami is. Are they the same old Miami that loses games they shouldn't, or have they actually stepped up? The Offense should be a lot better, the run game has completely stalled - probably because Diaz doesn't Let D'Eriq King keep it on read options and they literally run the same run play all game long...but They have talent on this roster for sure. Depending on ND vs Clemson, Miami has a great shot at ACCCG.
Oregon Ducks Yeah maybe this is too high, idk. But they were the best P12 team last year. Lost a lot of players, but it's pretty unlikely no P12 team will be good this year. At the end of the day whoever the top P12 team, will be ahead of all these non P5 teams...
Oklahoma State Cowboys Yeah the B12 has beaten itself up. I think this shows that B12 has good teams, but no great team. I think they've (the B12) been eliminated from the CFP. They have a hard 3 game stretch with Texas, KSU, and OU. Lets see if they can go 2-1 and maintain control of the B12, or if they'll surrender it.
Indiana Hoosiers I mean I didn't see this coming. But so far they've earned this I guess. Rutgers definitely got screwed to end the game though - that was a TD! I mean they got Michigan, MSU, Ohio St and Wisconsin remaining on their schedule, so if they go 2-2 that would be good.
Cincinnati Bearcats They've done everything asked. Problem is their competition isn't anything to make me believe they'd beat one of the top P5 schools. I had them a little higher, but I think I needed a slight correction.
Coastal Carolina Chanticleers I mean what is all that different between Coastal Carolina and Cincinnati at this point? If they're for real they'll win out.
Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Lost to Coastal Carolina, but do actually have a good win against ISU.
Iowa State Cyclones Lost to Louisiana and OSU. But do have wins against OU and teams Texas and OSU lost to, so ... B12 is going to be complicated.
Marshall Thundering Herd
BYU Cougars
USC Trojans
SMU Mustangs
Auburn Tigers
Oklahoma Sooners
Purdue Boilermakers
Wake Forest Demon Deacons
Texas Longhorns
