T-Thugs Ballot for 2020 Week 2^3

Overall Rationale: I make my poll each week based on team resumes and what they've accomplished so far. It will look weird early on but come into line with everyone else as the season goes.

1 Alabama Crimson Tide Alabama is 5-0 with a couple really nice wins over Texas A&M and Georgia. 
2 Clemson Tigers Clemson I think is probably the best team in the country. They have a really impressive win in their 42-17 dismantling of Miami (5-1).
3 Cincinnati Bearcats Cincinnati remains undefeated. Picked up a nice win over previously undefeated SMU this past weekend. 
4 Oklahoma State Cowboys Oklahoma State is 4-0 with wins over Iowa State (3-2), West Virginia (3-2), and Tulsa (2-1). 
5 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers Coastal Carolina has a nice wins over the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns (4-1). They also have a win over Georgia Southern (3-2). They will likely fall as other teams gather quality wins. 
6 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Notre Dame moved to 5-0 with a blowout of Pittsburgh. Lacking wins over quality teams as their opponents have poor records currently. 
7 BYU Cougars BYU is undefeated but like ND lacks real quality in their wins. Best win is over Houston (2-1). Also has a win over Navy (3-3) 
8 Indiana Hoosiers Indiana gets a major boost from being 1-0 with a win over Penn State. Big ten rankings are weird as they just started playing. That's a big win as far as we know, though. Until we have a reason to move them down, Indiana places themselves here.  If they keep winning I'll move them up. Their win is probably better than any BYU, ND, or Coastal Carolina has, but they've only played 1 game. 
9 Michigan Wolverines Michigan is 1-0 with a lopsided victory over Minnesota. This is a good win, but like Indiana I'm putting them here as they have only played 1 game.
10 Purdue Boilermakers Purdue is 1-0 with a win over Iowa. 
11 Texas A&M Aggies My highest ranked 1 loss team currently. Texas A&M has only 1 loss to Alabama and also has a quality win over Florida. It's tricky to rate their resume vs. undefeated big ten teams but I'm putting them above some of the big ten teams that beat teams that were not any good last year. These will be easier to compare when the big ten teams have more games. 
12 Ohio State Buckeyes Ohio State is undefeated with a blowout win over Nebraska. They'll jump up higher but its weird to rank a team with only 1 game at this point in the season. I'm keeping the undefeated big ten teams a bit behind undefeated teams with more victories until they prove it. 
13 Rutgers Scarlet Knights Rutgers is 1-0 with a win over Michigan State. I think they will probably fall out quick, but they get themselves here for the start. 
14 Wisconsin Badgers Wisconsin laid a beatdown on Illinois to start the year. Will have a lot of opportunities to move up soon. 
15 Northwestern Wildcats Northwestern is 1-0 with a big beating of Maryland. 
16 North Carolina Tar Heels North Carolina has a tough loss to Florida State, but they have some good wins over North Carolina State (4-2) and Virginia Tech (3-2). 
17 Georgia Bulldogs Georgia is 4-1 with their only loss being to Alabama. They'll probably move up but I dont think their wins are as good as Texas A&M or UNC. Best win is Auburn (3-2). Next best win is Arkansas (2-2). 
18 Marshall Thundering Herd Marshall is 5-0. Their best win is over Appalachian State (3-1)
19 Liberty Flames Not sure how to rank Liberty. They and Marshall are tough to figure out. They're undefeated but play some pretty poor competition. 
20 Kansas State Wildcats Kansas State is 4-1. Best win is over Oklahoma (3-2)
21 Miami Hurricanes Miami is 4-1. Only loss is to Clemson. Lacking quality wins though. Have wins over Pitt and Louisville. They have games against Virginia Tech and NC State coming up.
22 Florida Gators Florida hasn't played for a while due to a covid outbreak. Theyre 2-1 with a loss to Texas A&M. Lacking real quality of their wins but they have a big chance to move up in a couple weeks when they play Georgia. 
23 Army West Point Army is 6-1. Only loss is to Cincinnati. 
24 Boise State Broncos Kicked off the season at 1-0. 
25 Memphis Tigers Memphis is 3-1.
