1 Ohio State Buckeyes A little weak against the run, but they look about as good as advertised.
2 Clemson Tigers Clemson is solid on both sides of the ball, giving them the edge over Bama.
3 Alabama Crimson Tide The defense still has some issues, but the offense is incredible.
4 Wisconsin Badgers Mertz being out could ruin their playoff hopes, but if they make it through the next few weeks they should be fine.
5 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Bounced back against a good Pitt defense.
6 Oklahoma State Cowboys Oklahoma State should have a clear shot to the Big 12 CCG. Run the table and they're in the playoffs.
7 Cincinnati Bearcats Cincinnati may have been the biggest winner this weekend. They destroyed a Top 25 team and the B1G's hopes of getting two teams in the playoffs decreased significantly with the PSU loss and Mertz getting Covid.
8 BYU Cougars Another easy win for BYU. They need Boise and SDSU to help boost their SOS.
9 Oregon Ducks Oregon must run the table to have a chance at the playoffs.
10 Michigan Wolverines Completely outclassed what should be a good Gopher team. The blue pants may be the key.
11 Marshall Thundering Herd FAU was their last challenge. They should just cruise to an undefeated season at this point.
12 Indiana Hoosiers Huge win against Penn State. The defense looked better than advertised. If the offense can get back to last year's form, then Indiana could be the 2nd best team in the East.
13 Georgia Bulldogs Georgia's wins look less impressive as time goes on. The game against Florida will decide who is sacrificed to Bama in the CCG.
14 Texas A&M Aggies A&M's toughest remaining game is this weekend, against Arkansas.
15 Florida Gators Florida will have to show out against UGA in a couple weeks if they want to keep their playoff hopes alive.
16 Penn State Nittany Lions The QBs had some horrible turnovers and Pinegar had the worst performance of his career. PSU did everything they could to lose this game.
17 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers Coastal remains undefeated and they have the best record in the Sun Belt.
18 Kansas State Wildcats Kansas State did exactly what they should, and more, against Kansas.
19 Miami Hurricanes I think it's time to admit that the ACC outside of Clemson (And ND this year) is still pretty bad. Miami proved that with their struggle against two mid tier ACC teams in the past two weeks.
20 Iowa State Cyclones Iowas State fought to the end with Oklahoma State. They are clearly still a Top 25 team.
21 North Carolina Tar Heels A big win against their in state rivals earns them a few spots in the poll.
22 SMU Mustangs They didn't put up much of a fihgt against Cincinnati, but I don't think a lot of teams would this year.
23 Tulsa Golden Hurricane Proving to be a very good team that nearly upset a Top 10 OkSt.
24 Northwestern Wildcats Maybe all Northwestern needed was a QB. They may challenge Wisconsin for the West.
25 Purdue Boilermakers Purdue pulled off a big win against Iowa. With a healthy team, this could be a big year for them.
