1 Ohio State Buckeyes The buckeyes just got most of their key opt-outs back. This team is going to be scary.
2 Clemson Tigers Clemson is solid on both sides of the ball, giving them the edge over Bama.
3 Alabama Crimson Tide The defense still has some issues, but the offense is incredible.
4 Penn State Nittany Lions PSU should be the second best team in the B1G. The Big 12 beating up on each other should be really helpful for the SEC/B1G/ACC to get two teams in the playoff.
5 Oregon Ducks Oregon should be the clear favorites in weak Pac 12. They have talent all over the field.
6 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Notre Dame doesn't look amazing, but they are winning.
7 Wisconsin Badgers Wisconsin pulled a fairly easy schedule and should be the favorites to win the West.
8 Cincinnati Bearcats Cincinnati looks like the frontrunners for the G5 NY6 spot. They have two tough games against Tulsa and SMU.
9 Oklahoma State Cowboys They still have their two toughest conference opponents left…Iowa State and Kansas State.
10 BYU Cougars Came back and won solidly over what should be a decent Houston team.
11 Georgia Bulldogs The offense needs to take some strides if they want to compete for a national championship.
12 SMU Mustangs SMU looks like Cincinatti's biggest challenger.
13 Michigan Wolverines Michigan has one of the toughest schedules in the country. That's not great when you're breaking in a new QB. I think the defense will still help them win some bigger games, though.
14 Marshall Thundering Herd Another easy win for the Thundering Herd. They should have no problem winning Conference USA.
15 Minnesota Golden Gophers Bateman coming back is hug for the Gophers. They should have a good offense with Tanner Morgan back at QB.
16 Iowa Hawkeyes It's tough to imagine Iowa not having a Top 25 team. They should once again have a solid OL and defense. And they will find another talented TE.
17 Texas A&M Aggies A&M has a chance of winning out in a weaker SEC. Arkansas, South Carolina, and Ole Miss may be their three toughest opponents remaining.
18 Florida Gators The game with Georgia should decide the East.
19 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers Impressive win this weekend to keep their NY6 hopes alive.
20 Miami Hurricanes Another solid win for the Hurricanes. They look like they may get a rematch with Clemson after ND and UNC's performances this weekend.
21 Iowa State Cyclones A nicely timed bye before a huge Big 12 matchup with Oklahoma State.
22 Kansas State Wildcats KSU has turned things around since that loss against Arkansas State.
23 Utah Utes We may see a rematch of last year's Pac-12 Championship Game. The Pac-12 will be weak this year, so Utah still has a shot at running the table.
24 North Carolina Tar Heels A tough loss to a horrible FSU team.
25 Memphis Tigers Memphis still has hopes to make it to the AAC Championship.
