1 Clemson Tigers They looked like Clemson and did enough to stay #1.
2 Alabama Crimson Tide They won comfortably again but I don't think they did enough/Clemson did to little to move them to #1.
3 Florida Gators This offense is just stupid good, the defense still gives cause for concern but they should be able to six-shooter with anyone.  Definitely enough to keep their spot.
4 Georgia Bulldogs Offense looked more consistent but I would still say there are areas of concern.  Defense looked good though and that Auburn team isn't awful.  Definitely have looked good enough to jump Miami and Notre Dame on their byes.
5 Miami Hurricanes Bye week so not much to say.
6 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Bye week so not much to say.
7 BYU Cougars The best team in the Big 12.  No they are seriously really good.  IDK how they move about once the Big 10 and Pac 12 start playing games and I start including them but its a damn shame.  This BYU team might be one of the most screwed from schedule weakening in the country.
8 Oklahoma State Cowboys The Big 12's best playoff hope apparently, walloped Kansas as one should.
9 North Carolina Tar Heels Bit of a struggle against BC (who I will admit I think is better than some would believe) but they are also coming back from 3 weeks off.  Still they struggled more than Oklahoma State so they are just below.
10 Virginia Tech Hokies Probably should have beat Duke by more than that but a couple guys missing late, kinda tough between them and UNC but for now I give the slight edge to UNC.
11 Tennessee Volunteers I don't like how high they are either.  Two solid wins against a decent South Carolina team and solid win over a Missouri team that isn't terrible.  Honestly thought there was some upset special in play for them so color me impressed.
12 Cincinnati Bearcats Beat USF solidly, American had a rough week so surviving is a good sign.
13 Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Bye week, told you they would drop as more games got played though.
14 Pittsburgh Panthers They stay pretty high because they got some decent wins but definitely not top 10 after losing to NC State.  I wonder if all conferences were going they would probably be 20-25 or close to it.  Surprised we don't just have the offense to blame though.
15 Iowa State Cyclones Well, Oklahoma isn't doing great.  Their loss is to a team 2 slots above them and they have rebounded well.  Still kinda unsure of what to make of them though.
16 SMU Mustangs Undefeated SMU hugh, a good win against a tough Memphis team.  Got such a big jump because of what others failed to do more than anything.  Think they will struggle to crack the top 15 but could linger in top 20 if they keep winning.
17 Auburn Tigers Didn't look good against Georgia but thats also a top 5 team, Kentucky has been good both games they've played so I have them down here.  Rally everything from here on out was kinda tough and makes me wish I could have just done a top 10 for most of this season.
18 Virginia Cavaliers Look they played Clemson kinda tough, emphasis on kinda, and beat Duke decently last week.  All im saying is they are here right now but just barely.
19 TCU Horned Frogs Another of the confusing Big 12 teams, which also makes them one of the teams celebrating Texas and Oklahoma looking ROUGH.  Anyway, I'm sure they are having a hell of a weekend.
20 NC State Wolfpack NC State might not be terrible?  Virginia Tech is good and Pitt isn't terrible.  Really if they play that loss close I probably have them above Pitt but they looked so bad in that game I can't put them any higher.
21 Kansas State Wildcats In any season that Week 1 loss is going to hurt you but I feel it will be amplified with this weird as year so sorry K-State fans.
22 Marshall Thundering Herd Bye week so they were at the whim of other results, yes I am also surprised I didn't have a reason to drop them out.
23 Arkansas Razorbacks Is Arkansas competent?  Played Georgia tough for about 2.5 quarters and then ground out a win against MSU makes me think maybe.  Anyway, there aren't a ton of teams after the top 20 that really deserve to be ranked but until the other conferences play games here we are.
24 Mississippi State Bulldogs Beating LSU without a TON of trouble is still a good win, losing to Arkansas is not.  IDK the end of this list is kinda dumb.
25 Texas Longhorns Texas sure is back.  Back to being ranked when they shouldn't be.
