theb52 Ballot for 2019 Week 16 & Bowls

Ballot Type: Computer

Submitted: Dec. 9, 2019, 9:29 p.m.

Overall Rationale: This is a 100% computer poll based solely on resume`. If you want to understand the math, see any of my previous ballots for an explanation. If you want to see the math or get a breakdown of a particular team, go here <https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DJwt6zE8EMaj_Ik7Ggtnm-jZxUmaq7HKf2MwyEbIEIQ/edit?usp=sharing>. Conference championships are interesting and I've chosen to score them differently from a regular season game because of the 2012 SEC Championship. #2 Alabama played #3 Georgia and won. Alabama went on to destroy Notre Dame in the BCS Championship, but that's not the point. Because of the loss, Georgia dropped below Florida in the polls and Florida went to the Sugar Bowl (top SEC bowl) while Georgia was relegated to the Capital One bowl (2nd best SEC bowl). That ain't right. So the process that I landed on is like a bonus question. If you win your conference championship, you get your opponents points averaged into your score. If you lose your conference championship, nothing happens. You don't lose points (like losing a regular season game), you just missed the opportunity to gain points. Call me out in the comments and let me know if you think this is fair or not, I'm genuinely interested. **FIRST FIVE OUT** Virginia 32.458, Oklahoma St 31.000, Washington 28.583, Central Florida 28.250, Kansas St 27.000
