GenialGiant Ballot for 2019 Week 13

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Nov. 19, 2019, 9:56 a.m.

Overall Rationale: Yay, ballot! First N Out - Virginia, Iowa State

Rank Team Reason
LSU Tigers LSU still appears to be the most clearly dominant team in the country, though Ohio State could challenge them with a win.
Ohio State Buckeyes Ohio State is looking very solid and will try to keep things going with a game against Penn State.
Clemson Tigers Clemson bowled over their best opponent and looks very good, though their strength of schedule leaves something to be desired.
Penn State Nittany Lions A win over a good Indiana team moves Penn State back into the playoff picture.
Georgia Bulldogs South Carolina's drubbing doesn't reflect well on the Bulldogs.
Alabama Crimson Tide Alabama sits at sixth with not much chance to improve themselves, outside an unexpected LSU collapse.
Oklahoma Sooners Oklahoma leapfrogs the two Pac-12 teams with a win over previously-undefeated Baylor.
Oregon Ducks The Ducks have a good shot at winning the Pac-12, which could propel them into the top four.
Utah Utes Utah also has about as clear a path to the playoff as one can manage, though they'll have to go through Oregon to get there.
Minnesota Golden Gophers Minnesota falls some with their loss to Iowa and will likely need to beat Wisconsin to make the conference championship.
Florida Gators The Gators sit just outside the top 10 despite two losses, both to good teams.
Baylor Bears A heart-breaking loss to Oklahoma sends Baylor slipping.
Memphis Tigers Memphis continues to inch upward in my rankings this season.
Wisconsin Badgers The Iowa win over Minnesota helps Wisconsin before their match-up with the Golden Gophers.
Michigan Wolverines Somehow, Michigan has clawed its way back into the top 15, despite a couple rough losses.
Cincinnati Bearcats Cincinnati has looked good for most of the season and will clearly be challenging for an AAC title.
Iowa Hawkeyes A huge win over Minnesota lifts the Hawkeyes.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish Notre Dame continues to sit near the bottom of my top 20.
Auburn Tigers At 7-3, Auburn continues to slide down the rankings.
SMU Mustangs SMU doesn't have much of a resume to lean on, but they've looked like a pretty decent team overall.
Appalachian State Mountaineers Appalachian State slides a little this week, but through no fault of theirs.
Boise State Broncos Boise State is largely in the same boat as the Mountaineers this week.
Indiana Hoosiers I thought Indiana handled themselves very well against Penn State, so no drop for them.
Virginia Tech Hokies A second ACC team in the rankings is huge news.
North Dakota State Bison The Bison will probably sit here until they beat someone very good or lose.
