GenialGiant Ballot for 2019 Week 11

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Nov. 4, 2019, 11:42 p.m.

Overall Rationale: Maybe one day I'll get my hybrid ballot up and running. Maybe one day the U.S. will buy Greenland. First N Out - San Diego State, Navy, Wyoming

Rank Team Reason
LSU Tigers Let me tell ya, LSU has the best wins in the country, big-league wins, and a lot of people are saying they might beat 'Bama.
Ohio State Buckeyes Some of Ohio State's wins have been yuge and they're looking like a top team.
Penn State Nittany Lions Penn State has been tremendous so far this season and Gameday not going to Minnesota has been the worst decision in the history of Gameday maybe ever.
Alabama Crimson Tide Everybody knows Alabama; they say to me "what about that Nick Saban guy?" and I tell them "look, his team is great, I have tremendous respect for Nick Saban, but who have they beaten this year?"
Clemson Tigers Clemson has been terrific, but we just don't know how good they are, do we?
Georgia Bulldogs Georgia, I love Georgia, a lot of fine people down in Georgia, including the Bulldogs football team.
Oregon Ducks The Ducks, they've been making a great recovery, and I think people are starting to say that Oregon may really be a great team this year.
Utah Utes Okay, yeah, I've (mostly) gotten tired of this shtick, but I think Utah's a pretty solid team and they definitely deserve their ranking.
Oklahoma Sooners Oklahoma seems like a good enough team, but I'm just not particularly sold on them after their loss to Kansas State.
Baylor Bears This weekend should be a good lesson that staying undefeated is hard, especially when you don't have a bye week.
Minnesota Golden Gophers Even though they're undefeated, Minnesota presently sits outside my top 10, though they can change that with a win against Penn State.
Florida Gators If you're reading this, just know that two-loss P5 teams have no business being ranked above undefeated P5 teams this late in the season.
Auburn Tigers Yeah, basically what I said for Florida.
Wake Forest Demon Deacons I think Wake Forest has been treated very unfairly and should be ranked among the top teams in the country.
Iowa Hawkeyes They're not a particularly flashy team, but Iowa has been playing some good football this season.
Memphis Tigers A huge win over SMU buoys the Tigers.
SMU Mustangs SMU drops in my ballot after falling to Memphis, but I think this is still a very good team.
Michigan Wolverines Michigan seems to have largely gotten over its 21-point loss to Wisconsin, as have many of the voters in major polls, but I certainly haven't.
Wisconsin Badgers Wisconsin's lost two games in pretty tremendous fashion, but they're still a top team in my eyes.
Cincinnati Bearcats Cincinnati has their work cut out for them if they're going to win the American, but that doesn't mean they can't succeed.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish I'm really not sold on Notre Dame this season, which is something I say basically every season.
Boise State Broncos Boise State still needs some help if they want a New York 6 slot, but they're doing what they can to stay in contention.
Kansas State Wildcats The Wildcats knocked off the Jayhawks and maintain their position in my ballot.
Appalachian State Mountaineers Pro tip: Don't lose to an okay team on national television, especially when your biggest claim to fame is being undefeated.
North Dakota State Bison The Bison are a good team; certainly better than whatever weird flavor-of-the-week team I'd otherwise put here.
