peachios Ballot for 2019 Week 8

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Oct. 13, 2019, 8:55 p.m.

Rank Team Reason
LSU Tigers 2nd really good win of the year for the tigers, I think with who they have beat and how they deserve to be up top
Ohio State Buckeyes dropped one mostly due to LSU looking so strong and beating strong teams. OSU looks very strong, but no amazing wins yet (decent against cincy).
Oklahoma Sooners Strong win against Texas, (yes they have 2 losses but against 3 of the top teams... barely) They have been wrecking teams before them, granted most were meh at best.
Alabama Crimson Tide Bama actually has many decent wins, and looks great. No big team wins yet (as in none ranked anymore). but they will see some strong Tigers towraads the end of the season and whoever comes out of the east should be decent
Wisconsin Badgers wrecking teams just like all the other undefeateds, and have a good win against Michigan who has returned to at least winning again.
Clemson Tigers Now that was the spooky Clemson everyone keeps ranking so high. I figured on games this year they haven't looked as good as those aboev them, mostly due to the UNC game, but like I said they've climbed since others fell
Penn State Nittany Lions A good win against Iowa , at least since they won. Strong test to see which west team is 2nd best in the B10 this week
Florida Gators due to who has lost this week and who they lost to(#1)  florida isn't moving this week, still a strong win (with auburn)
Auburn Tigers auburn had a bye, but with texas, georgia, virginia losing two of those teams and ND look not as strong so I'm going to have Auburn move up
Notre Dame Fighting Irish a win that is still a win, but not looking great by doing so. Virginia and Georgia losing make a win and loss earlier this year seem less awesome. But still top 10
Oregon Ducks wrecked Colorado, and just hanging around Auburn really no sense dropping them
Georgia Bulldogs I feel I might have dropped them too far, as this game was close, but of the top tier teams this looks like the worst loss (at home against a team who shouldn't have been close)
Utah Utes looking amazingly strong
Boise State Broncos still undefeated and looking like the top G5 team
Texas Longhorns looked strong against 2 of the top 3, you can't be the best until you win, but we're sorta getting that sec quality loss thing (though honestly they do look quality)
Arizona State Sun Devils close call against my team
SMU Mustangs
Michigan Wolverines according to the score Michigan looked great, I know many thought it wasn't great
Minnesota Golden Gophers honestly these next 2 seem like they might need to be higher soon. Power6 conference teams that are undefeated and just had low expectations/preseason polls
Baylor Bears i just said what I said on minny
Cincinnati Bearcats good win against houston now
Missouri Tigers looking like a strongish SEC team (granted havent played anyone that strong yet)
Washington Huskies a strange season for the huskies this year thye seem a little scattered with good wins and bad losses
Appalachian State Mountaineers
Iowa Hawkeyes a big drop after losing to michigan and penn state in a row, not looking like one of the stronger teams anymore (expected) but a good one at least was close and Penn state is a top tier team in my book
