Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Oct. 15, 2019, 9:58 a.m.

Overall Rationale: Human ballot still. Hybrid ETA ??? First N Out - Temple, Tulane

Rank Team Reason
LSU Tigers One tiger you don't want to catch by the toe, LSU has the best wins of anyone so far this season.
Alabama Crimson Tide Alabama hasn't done anything wrong to fall out of the top position, they just aren't doing as well as LSU.
Clemson Tigers Clemson beat up on FSU, but that isn't a very big ask.
Wisconsin Badgers Another dominant performance for the Badgers, who hope their stout defense can carry them to the playoff.
Ohio State Buckeyes Ohio State has looked great so far and it will be interesting to see how the Big Ten shakes out.
Penn State Nittany Lions Penn State looked a bit rocky in the passing game, but I refuse to accept that this wasn't a two-score win.
Oklahoma Sooners Oklahoma has looked very good this season, though it's hard to know how they're doing compared to the clump of top Big Ten schools.
Auburn Tigers The third of our Tiger bunch, Auburn has impressed the least so far, but Oregon is looking better and better, which helps.
Notre Dame Fighting Irish Notre Dame's loss is now less good, but they move up largely by virtue of not losing.
Oregon Ducks Speaking of the Ducks, they jump into the top 10 having taken care of business in the Pac-12.
Florida Gators A rough loss to a great LSU team drops Florida outside the top 10.
Georgia Bulldogs Georgia suffered a brutal loss to South Carolina, dumping them from near the top of the list.
Boise State Broncos Boise State has looked like teams of the past and continues to impress.
Michigan Wolverines Still not sold on the Wolverines, but we'll see how their game against Penn State goes.
Utah Utes The Utes look increasingly like the best team from their division.
Arizona State Sun Devils That said, the Sun Devils are close on their heels for the Pac-12 South.
Texas Longhorns It's really hard to know where to put Texas when their biggest wins are close losses.
Baylor Bears Baylor is looking better and better and may be a Big 12 dark horse.
SMU Mustangs Who'd've thought SMU would be leading the American at this point?
Minnesota Golden Gophers The Golden Gophers may not have as much attention as their conference-mates, but they're looking very good.
Appalachian State Mountaineers App State continues to impress, remaining undefeated.
Iowa Hawkeyes Iowa falls for me, but I still think they're a good team.
Wake Forest Demon Deacons One close loss (albeit to a bad team) shouldn't take away from what Wake Forest has accomplished this season.
Cincinnati Bearcats The Bearcats are back in my top 25.
Missouri Tigers Who knows if Missouri is any good?
