1 Notre Dame Fighting Irish 8-0. Best win is over Michigan, which is probably best win any team has in the country (arguably LSU over Georgia). Also beat Stanford, Virginia Tech. They play Northwestern next week. 
2 Clemson Tigers 8-0. Best win is Syracuse. Also defeated NC State and Texas A&M. 
3 LSU Tigers 7-1. Only loss is to Florida. Have a very good win over Georgia. Also have wins over Auburn and Miami.
4 Alabama Crimson Tide Alabama is 8-0 and has destroyed everyone, but their best win is over Texas A&M who just lost to Mississippi State and now has 3 losses. 
5 Georgia Bulldogs Georgia jumps way back up in my poll after manhandling Florida. Their only loss is to LSU and now they have a good win on the resume as well.
6 Michigan Wolverines Only loss is to Notre Dame. Best win is over Northwestern? Also have wins over Wisconsin and Michigan State. 
7 Washington State Cougars Washington State's comeback win over Stanford puts them in great shape to win the Pac12 north. Also, they've already defeated Utah who leads the South.
8 Ohio State Buckeyes Ohio State is 7-1. Best win is over Penn State, who counts as a solid win again in my book after their win over Iowa this week. 
9 Kentucky Wildcats Kentucky stays in the top 10 in my poll with a crazy win against Missouri. I think I currently have them overrated talent-wise, but their resume still feels better than others. Still have a good win over Florida. Also defeated Mississippi State. 
10 Oklahoma Sooners Sooners move back up into the top spot in the Big 12 with Texas's loss. Their best wins are over Iowa State and Army. 
11 West Virginia Mountaineers West Virginia's only loss is to Iowa State. Best win is over Texas Tech.
12 Florida Gators Florida got spanked by Georgia, but they still have a pretty solid resume. They're 6-2 with a really nice win over LSU. 
13 UCF Knights UCF is undefeated, but not really playing anyone. 
14 Texas Longhorns Texas picked up its second loss of the season. They still have a very good win over Oklahoma, though. 
15 Utah Utes Utah at 6-2 looks likely to win the Pac12 South. They do lack real quality wins, though. Best win is over Stanford? 
16 Penn State Nittany Lions Penn State jumps up in my poll after finally getting a good win on the resume. They are now 6-2 with a win over Iowa. 
17 Syracuse Orange Syracuse makes a big jump into my poll after defeating NC State. They are 6-2 with a solid win over NC State. They also played a very close game against Clemson on the road. 
18 NC State Wolfpack I was going to drop NC State even further after their loss to Syracuse, but they are 6-2 and have wins over a couple teams that I was going to rank around here, specifically Boston College (6-2) and Virginia (6-2). 
19 Iowa Hawkeyes Currently 6-2 with losses to Wisconsin and Penn State. Best win is Iowa State. 
20 Virginia Cavaliers 6-2. Losses to Indiana and NC State. Wins over duke and Miami. Could easily win their division of the ACC for the right to get whooped by Clemson in the ACC championship game. 
21 Houston Cougars 7-1 with a nice win over South Florida. Only loss is to Texas Tech.
22 Northwestern Wildcats They have 3 losses, including a terrible loss to Akron, but they have a couple nice wins, including Michigan State and Wisconsin. Huge matchup with Notre Dame this week. 
23 Boston College Eagles 6-2, but lacking impressive wins. They play Virginia Tech this week. 
24 Texas A&M Aggies Texas A&M has three losses, but has a nice win over Kentucky.
25 Michigan State Spartans Michigan State is a weird team. They have 3 losses, but they have a nice win over Penn State and also defeated Purdue.
