Overall Rationale: Usually by the time we get to playoff ranking times I start to transition to more resume based voting. All the arguing about UCF drove me to look for any other top 25 teams without wins over teams that are >.500. The closest one is South Florida whose best opponent record is Elon. There's no "power conference bias" in looking at the bare minimum strength of schedule in winning records.

Only win over a team with a winning record is a 4-4 Memphis. 3 or 4 of their best wins are ahead of them so they have a chance to move up but I would have a hard time putting them in the playoff over any of the potential one loss teams. |
