Overall Rationale: This will probably be one of the most controversial polls this week. The model I have set up rewards "good" wins strongly, and punishes "bad" losses strongly. So unless teams at the top lose to low-ranked opponents, it's difficult to unseat them. That's why Ohio State only slides two spots to #3, because Purdue came into their game at #45. Now Purdue moved up 25 places to take a seat in the ranking for the first time, but not enough other teams leaped over OSU to knock them lower. That's also why Army continues to hang around, because their early losses were "good" and they haven't taken any bad losses.
