1 Notre Dame Fighting Irish Irish remain undefeated. Win over Michigan may be the best win in the country. Also have wins over Stanford and Virginia Tech. 
2 Alabama Crimson Tide Alabama remains undefeated. They've basically crushed everyone lying in their path. Best wins are Texas A&M and Ole Miss. 
3 LSU Tigers LSU with one loss is my highest one loss team. Their wins over Miami and Auburn look a little less impressive now, but their blowout win over Georgia is quite impressive. Also, even with the Miami and Auburn wins looking less good, they still look a lot like other team's best wins. (Penn State, Ole Miss, etc.) Only loss is to Florida.
4 Clemson Tigers Clemson's best win currently is Texas A&M. They play NC State next week in a game that could solidify their ranking this high. 
5 Ohio State Buckeyes Ohio State resume really took a shot with Penn State's loss to Michigan State. Other best wins are TCU (3-3) and Indiana (4-3).
6 Texas Longhorns Texas struggled a little with Baylor this week, but still got the win. Best wins are over Oklahoma (5-1) and USC (4-2). Loss to Maryland.
7 Michigan Wolverines Michigan laid a beating on Wisconsin this weekend. Their only loss is to Notre Dame. Best wins are Wisconsin (4-2) and Maryland (4-2). 
8 Florida Gators Best win is over LSU (5-1). Also have a nice win over Mississippi State (4-2). Only loss is to Kentucky. 
9 Kentucky Wildcats Nice wins over Florida (5-1) and Mississippi State(4-2). Only loss is to Texas A&M.
10 NC State Wolfpack Currently undefeated. Best wins are over Boston College (5-2) and Virginia (4-2)
11 Oregon Ducks Oregon has a nice win over Washington (4-2). Only loss is to Stanford. 
12 Stanford Cardinal Stanford is hard to rank. They looked pretty terrible in their last two games, but they are 4-2 and have a couple really nice wins: Oregon (5-1), USC (4-2). 
13 Texas A&M Aggies Aggies are 5-2. Losses are to Alabama and Clemson. They have a nice win over Kentucky (5-1). That Kentucky win may slip a little, but for now it is very good. They play Mississippi State next week. 
14 USC Trojans USC has a couple losses to Stanford and Texas. They also have a couple nice wins over Washington State (5-1) and Colorado (5-1). I think Colorado is a super inflated 5-1 so I don't have them up above Texas A&M. USC plays Utah next week in a game that could determine the Pac12 south. 
15 West Virginia Mountaineers West Virginia's loss to Iowa State this weekend drops them in my poll. Their resume lacks a really great win. Best win is over Texas Tech (4-2). They will get more chances to win big games and move back up though. 
16 Washington State Cougars Washington State is 5-1. Best win is over Utah (4-2). Huge matchup this week with Oregon.
17 Duke Blue Devils I initially had Duke lower, but then I considered that their wins are really probably better than Georgia and Oklahoma, and they are also 5-1. They actually have also beaten Oklahoma's best win (Army) and have also defeated Northwestern and Baylor. Only loss is to Va Tech. They have a surprisingly important game against Virginia next week. 
18 Georgia Bulldogs Their resume is actually really weak. I have them here because they are 5-1, but they got blown out by LSU and their best win is over Tennessee? (3-3). 
19 Oklahoma Sooners Only loss is to Texas, which isn't bad, but their best win is probably over Army (4-2). They will move back up when they beat someone good. 
20 Maryland Terrapins Maryland is a hard team to rank. They lost to Temple (truly awful), but also have a great win over Texas. Next best win is Minnesota (3-3). Big game against Iowa next week. 
21 UCF Knights Undefeated, playing nobodies. Best win is Memphis (4-3). They do have a chance to move up at the end of the year with games against Cincy and USF.
22 Michigan State Spartans Michigan state has some bad losses, but a couple decent wins. Defeated Penn State (4-2) and Utah State (5-1). However, losses to both Northwestern and Arizona State are rough. 
23 Virginia Tech Hokies Like Maryland, Hokies are tough to rank. they got spanked by ND and have a terrible loss to Old Dominion, but they have a nice win over Duke (5-1). 
24 Texas Tech Red Raiders Texas Tech has a nice win over Houston (5-1) and also okay wins over TCU and Oklahoma State. 
25 Iowa Hawkeyes This is a hard spot to fill. Also considered Virginia, USF, Cincy, Utah State, and Washington. Iowa is 5-1 with their only loss being to Wisconsin. Blew out Indiana this week. Also have wins over Minnesota and Iowa State.
