UCF Knights

This might be contentious but I'm going with UCF for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, they won every single game this season and nobody else can say that. Secondly, they beat the team that beat both NCG participants and did it through solid fundamentals and line play on both sides of the ball. This wasn't trick plays and gimmicks, they played and competed in the trenches just like any other P5 team. Third, the eye test for UCF in watching all of their games this year has me convinced that they could play with anybody on any given Saturday. It may wind up being a controversial pick but I'm going with the Knights at #1 with the best season in the sport. |
