Overall Rationale: As in the past, this is a modified version of the Massey Composite. There's three major modifications I've made; preference for undefeated and CFP teams, placing Bowl Winners above teams they defeated, and the nod to the FCS Champion. As a note, regardless of the actual result, I still believe that the #4 seed in the CFP should have been UCF and not Alabama. I don't have a personal stake in that, and I don't think Alabama was a bad choice for the spot - but if the G5 are actually going to receive any chance to play for the national title, you have to give them the chance to do so if possible. This season, I believe that was the case as the #4 seed was up for grabs.
