Overall Rationale: No. I don't hate you, my computer does. But but x beat y in the regular season, why is y ranked ahead of x? There are systems that try and minimize the amount of ranking violations that happen. Mine doesn't do that because A) that requires a lot more technical know how than I possess and B) this is a stunning concept to some people but a lot of times, the best team doesn't always win. Michigan was a better team than Ohio State was during that game (look up the total yardage), but did not win because of mistakes (Florida-LSU was like this as well). The same thing happens all the time and while a retroactive poll may want to correct for that, I'd like to think my ratings are more predictive in nature.
