1 Alabama Crimson Tide Undefeated. Loads of good wins. Clearly the top team. 
2 Ohio State Buckeyes Only loss is to Penn State. Really good wins over Michigan, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin.
3 Clemson Tigers Lost to Pitt, but have solid wins over Louisville, Florida State, and Auburn.
4 Washington Huskies Only loss is to USC. big win over Washington State this weekend. Also have a good win over Stanford. 
5 Michigan Wolverines Loss to Ohio State probably bumps them out of the playoffs. I have a hard time bumping them under Wisconsin, Penn State, or Colorado, though, seeing as they played and beat all of them. I will likely bump the Big Ten champion over them after next week, though.
6 Penn State Nittany Lions Big Ten eastern conference champions. Huge win over Ohio State. I didn't put them above Michigan because Michigan beat them, but I'd jump them over the Wolverines if they can defeat Wisconsin in the Big Ten championship.
7 Wisconsin Badgers Wisconsin is in good position to possibly win the big ten and sneak into the playoffs.
8 Colorado Buffaloes Colorado still has an outside shot at the playoffs if they beat Washington in the Pac-12 championship.
9 Oklahoma Sooners Big matchup with the Cowboys is actually next weekend. Sooners are hurt by the beatings they took by the only good teams they played out of conference.
10 USC Trojans Laid a whooping on a bad ND team this weekend. USC has a couple great wins over Colorado and Washington. Their struggles early keep them this low in my poll, though.
11 Western Michigan Broncos An undefeated season should have Western Michigan playing in a big time bowl game. Goodbye Mr Fleck.
12 Oklahoma State Cowboys A win over Oklahoma next weekend would make them the Big 12 champs.
13 Virginia Tech Hokies The Hokies put together a pretty solid season. They had a couple bad losses, but they have solid wins over Miami, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, and Georgia Tech. They play Clemson next week for the ACC championship.
14 Florida State Seminoles Big time win over Florida this week. Still a bit of a disappointing finish for the Noles, with 3 losses.
15 West Virginia Mountaineers solid season for the mountaineers but they really don't have any big time wins.
16 Stanford Cardinal Lost to three good teams, have a good win over USC.
17 Pittsburgh Panthers Pitt has 4 losses, but they have wins over Clemson and Penn State and those are both super impressive now. 
18 North Carolina Tar Heels 4 losses, wins over FSU, Ga Tech, Pitt, and Miami. 
19 Boise State Broncos 10-2 but lack quality wins.
20 Nebraska Cornhuskers Blown out by Iowa to finish out the year but still finished at 9-3.
21 Florida Gators SEC East champions.
22 Miami Hurricanes
23 LSU Tigers
24 Navy Midshipmen
25 Houston Cougars
