Overall Rationale: Playoff Prediction Mode engaged. The top four is my expected playoff field, in order. Next five are most the likely replacements (mostly in order). At this point in the season the 8-12 is less likely, so I've removed that section. Beyond the top 9 it's a more traditional poll.The CFP committee has shown certain preferences through two seasons, this poll reflects that through the top 9.

(Adding on a 9th team) - OSU is good. But their situation, playoff-wise, seems precarious. They have to beat UM and then hope Sparty beats PSU in order to reach the B1GCG. Then they'd have to beat Wisconsin - again. If they can do all that, sure, playoffs for you. But that's a tough hill to climb. |
