Most dominant looking team in the country. |

Another impressive road win for the Tigers. They haven't looked dominant in every one of their wins, but they have played a terrific schedule and are still undefeated. |
3 |
![]() |
MSU game wasn't as close as the final score made it look. |
4 |
![]() |
Really impressed with how well we competed in a smashmouth game. Run defense is a bit of a concern, but getting Elijah Qualls back should help that out. |
5 |
![]() |
Wins over Auburn is better than any win that Lousiville has, and they have a bunch of solid wins over decent SEC teams to go along with it. |
6 |
![]() |
FSU win is nice, and their Clemson game could have gone either way. Those are their two most impressive performances and I'm a little concerned with their play against Duke and Virginia. |
7 |
![]() |
They lead the way in the pack of probably very good Big Ten teams that I'm not quite sure who is better than who. But OSU beat Wisconsin who beat Nebraska, so that seems like a good order for now. |
8 |
![]() |
Best two loss team in the country. Just above Nebraska seems like the right spot. |
9 |
![]() |
Sure they lost, but in OT on the road to a top 10 team? Nebraska is legit and has a big chance for a statement win against Ohio State this week. |
10 |
![]() |
Another solid win for Auburn @ Ole Miss. Feel better about them than any team below them. |
11 |
![]() |
That Northwestern win looks better as the year goes on. Still undefeated and that has to count for something. |
12 |
![]() |
Win over Georgia removes some of the uncertainty around how good Florida actually is. They're getting into the meat of their schedule now. |
13 |
![]() |
I still think the Mountaineers are a very good team - losing at Oklahoma State isn't a bad loss. |
14 |
![]() |
Very impressed with Utah's performance against UW. Physical, fast defense, great O-line, and Joe Williams is incredible. |
15 |
![]() |
Losing @Wyoming isn't a bad loss - Wyoming is pretty good this year. |
16 |
![]() |
Losing at Texas is kind of something to be ashamed of. |
17 |
![]() |
Moving them significantly up because I don't feel good enough about anyone below them, and their win over Ohio State is better than anyone else's win. |
18 |
![]() |
They've got a better win than anyone below them against Florida State besides Penn State. |
19 |
![]() |
2 loss team that nobody wants to play right now. Alabama, Florida, and A&M in the final stretch...we'll see how good they actually are. |
20 |
![]() |
Creeping up because they are good at football. Can't wait for Utah-Colorado for the South (unless USC goes on a run, which they might). |
21 |
![]() |
They have a lot of quality losses and some decent wins. Beat the teams that are worse than them and lose to the better teams. A 5-3 team that I wouldn't want to face. |
22 |
![]() |
I don't really know where to slot Oklahoma. No good wins and their losses to Houston and Ohio State are understandable but those teams are looking worse. |
23 |
![]() |
Nice win over WV at home. This feels about right. |
24 |

Originally had SD State at 24, VT at 25, and Troy just outside. But Troy beat South Alabama, who's SD State's only loss. Plus they barely lost to Clemson and that's the Trojans' only loss, so I think they have earned a spot in the top 25. |
25 |
![]() |
Only one loss, some decent wins, and a good offense. |
