Colton3690 Ballot for 2016 Week 8

Ballot Type: Human

Submitted: Oct. 17, 2016, 6:35 p.m.

Rank Team Reason
Alabama Crimson Tide Blowout win over a top 10 team does nothing to dislodge the Crimson Tide from the top spot.
Ohio State Buckeyes Notched a very good win on the road at Camp Randall, even though it took OT to complete the comeback
Clemson Tigers Close scare against NC State. The only thing keeping Clemson from dropping this week is the amount of teams on BYE weeks behind them, but the gap widened between them and the top 2 (and narrowed between them and the rest of the field)
Washington Huskies BYE
Texas A&M Aggies BYE
Michigan Wolverines BYE
Nebraska Cornhuskers Very solid win against Indiana this week. This team is not getting talked about very much for how good they have been playing.
Louisville Cardinals +2 spots this week after Wisconsin's loss
Western Michigan Broncos Might be the best G5 team out there this year. Protecting the ball and lack of turnovers is a big reason why. Very sound fundamentals team.
Wisconsin Badgers Played about as well as they could this past week and really impressed a lot of people. Defense is elite, which we knew, but showed some major strides on the offensive side of the ball. Freshman QB is coming along quickly.
Boise State Broncos Close MOV but moved past CSU without too much trouble
West Virginia Mountaineers Did a great job this week of limiting Mahomes, no trouble scoring on TTU's flimsy defense
Houston Cougars Cut it about as close as you can against Tulsa, but a win is a win, and that adds a decent win to Houston's resume
Utah Utes Another team that is quietly going about its business and playing solid on both sides of the ball.
Florida State Seminoles Starting to put the pieces together after handling Wake
Oklahoma Sooners
Arkansas Razorbacks
Stanford Cardinal
Baylor Bears
North Carolina Tar Heels
USF Bulls
Tennessee Volunteers
Colorado Buffaloes
San Diego State Aztecs
Memphis Tigers
