Overall Rationale: This is more about the most impressive wins and (noncirclejerky) quality losses.  By and large, I don't think there is a lot of basis for this poll still, and consequentially, undefeated means the most, followed by winning well and against teams with genuinely good records.  If you lost a game, you're only ranked if that loss was to a team that looks like a top-10 team.  I try to avoid poll inertia and preseason ranking valuation, but I'm a human, so I get some of that too.  tl;dr - losses of any kind drag a team down towards the bottom
